Sunny Health & Fitness Incline Full Motion Rowing Machine - SF-RW5720
By Sunny Health & Fitness
The incline effect on the SF-RW5720 works similar to walking on an incline. During the drive phase of the rowing action, the slide rail elevates up as a response to the rowing motion of the arms. This movement elicits the motor unit recruitment of the leg muscle (i.e., foot/ankle complex, calves, quads, and the lumbopelvic-hip complex [LPHC]) while the upper body is used for dynamic stabilization assisting in maintaining the ascending and descending through the range of motion.
- Product Dimensions: 55L x 22W x 18H in
- Digital Monitor: Time, count, calories, total count, and scan
- Max Weight: 350 lb
- Max Incline: 5 adjustable levels

DIGITAL MONITORKeep track of your fitness progress by utilizing the built in digital monitor. The meter displays your time, count, calories, total count, and a scan feature. |
TRANSPORTATION WHEELSSimply tilt and roll out for use or away for storage, no need for heavy lifting or muscle strain. The wheels at the front of the unit allow the user to move their rower around with ease. |
NON-SLIP PEDAL W/ ADJUSTABLE STRAPMaintaining balance and safety are no longer an issue with the non-slip foot pads. Oversized textured non-slip foot plates will accommodate all sizes, while remaining grip ensures safe footing during the most demanding, vigorous workouts. |
Physical Benefits of the SF-RW5720 Incline Rower
This compact rowing machine is built with five levels of incline allowing a versatile yet challenging full body workout. The full motion rower targets each major muscle group for a challenging and effective cardio and strength workout session. Begin your row by utilizing your arms and back to pull the padded handlebars toward your chest. The first motion heavily engages your arms, back, and abdominals. As you descend back down the inclined slide rail, your quads will feel a deep burn with the controlled motion. The movement resembles a wall sit, engaging quads and calves. As you continue to row you will feel sore muscles in your, back, shoulders arms and legs. Easily maneuver the machine from various rooms with the transportation wheels and completely fold the row machine for easy storage. Stop wishing and start doing with the SF-RW5720 Incline Slide Rower – the rowing machine built for the results you want.

-Digital counter: works accurately and cuts off after non use in 4 mins. Came with batteries so happy about that.
- noise level: literally quiet none at all. Perfect for ppl who have roommates or babies in the home.
- chair comfort: I have a lot of butt and despite what ppl think about all this natural cushion work out equipment still hurts. But not this one. So far it’s comfortable, wide enough where I’m not spilling over, and glides like a perfectly oiled machine. Makes incline very easy on the knees which is my reason for buying this no impact machine in first place.
- foot pedals: easy to attach and strap on, move accordingly!
- handles: full range of motion, I’m short and still able to hold in proper area instead of self modified location for my height. Using them appropriately helps feel the burn.
- incline: smooth and easy, can feel the muscles working but lifts and goes down seamlessly close to a fluid swimming motion. I literally love that part.
- levels 1-5: 1 is my comfort zone right now as a new user I can definitely see the change as I went higher just to try it out. However I’m going to work my way up to level 5 over time. If you want easy fluid movements I say stay 1-2 if u wanna have to stop and take a breathe 3-5 is where uou should be.
- Cardio: I felt my heart rate raise quickly with this machine, I definitely see what other reviewers are talking about as it pertains to having to rest then continue. It’s not exhausting but your muscles will say,”hello we need a minute” lol.
Muscle groups: I feel abs, legs(whole leg, mostly thighs, back(lean back slightly on incline for proper form), arms for sure...triceps and biceps will thank you. I love u can get cardio and full body workout on this machine with no impact. This is perfect.
Storage: I added a pic of it standing im good with that but will definitely fit in my closet so I’m super happy. Won’t be putting mines out of sight though, I need to be on her 2x a day 20-30 mins each. I’m going after results.!!!!
I hope this helps anyone trying to make a decision on this machine. I’ve been watching it for months and finally decided to buy it since this pandemic
doesn’t seem to be letting up and gyms require masks, as an asthmatic it’s very hard to breathe in my mask and get a proper workout in. I’ll opt into buying home gym equipment and make my house work for me. I will be telling friends and also buying more equipment from Sunny Health and Fitness. (Oh yea sign up for subscription they send the best work out and nutrition tips)!

While it doesn't capture the precise feel of paddling kayaks, canoes, outriggers, dragon boats, or SUPs, it definitely comes closer to the full body workout those boats provide than the kind of rowers you typically find at the gym. The motion most resembles the feel of sculling or rowing shells - or even the kick-off from the wall in a butterfly stroke in swimming.
You can adjust the resistance by adjusting the incline, since the resistance is all body weight, from nearly level to steep enough for an intense workout. (But my one complaint - the process - unscrewing the pin, pulling it out while sliding to the desired position - would be easier for someone with three hands. And the instructions weren't great. I had to look online, for that and for guidance on how to use for safe, effective workouts.)
You can also target specific muscle groups or motions by adjusting where you grip the handles, where in the stroke sequence you begin to engage the arms, and whether you keep the motion tight to the sides in parallel, out at arms length, rotating like a butterfly stroke, or anything in between.
When I work from home, I take a break every couple of hours to row, alternating from warm up paddle rates to high intensity 3 minute race sets and back again, then get back to work. Then I do longer sets after work, mixing it up whether I work just my legs, just my arms, full forward stretch, full body extension before the pull, parallel arms vs. circular motion, etc. - lots of options, unlike regular rowers). My back and shoulders are way happier now.
This rower is more compact than most, only 51" long, about 40 pounds, with wheels on one end that make it pretty easy to move around (so it's not a chore to put it away between uses). It's pretty stable stood on end for storage and doesn't take a lot of space. It feels plenty sturdy, even for a user who's 6'2" and 215 lbs (though max capacity is 250 lbs). All in all, thoughtfully and well designed.
